First off, we’re hoping to collaborate with people who’d like to organise events here that fit in with our ethos - People helping Nature and Nature helping People – so please get in touch if an idea is brewing. We won't be bombarding you, but we will keep you informed of news, thoughts and up-coming happenings.

human nature residency
SEPTEMBER 22-27 Ecologists, artists, activists, media people, professional and citizen naturalists - join us! The aim of this residency is to support and network committed individuals in developing and producing projects or works that help to explain, interpret or protect the Natural World.
For five days and nights, we’ll be your residential workspace and retreat from concrete and complications. We’ll give you shelter and like-minded companionship in the Manor, amongst the walls of dusty books, lived-in sofas and old fashioned plumbing of this well-loved Georgian home… More>>>>

After a pretty wild social whirl of five years at the Manor, we're taking some time now to figure out what on earth to do in 2020 and beyond. It might take us far and wide, and earth will definitely be a big part of it, as we've noticed how much people respond the loveliness of wild nature here. Help us work our how to get one closer to the other, or just keep an eye on what's being schemed and scheduled up ahead....

Our favourite videographer and photographer, Fellipe Lopes held a one-day film-making workshop for all levels , focusing on using your smartphone to create short videos in the beautiful wild setting of Killyon Manor.
Lay of the land Residency
Lay of the Land are an arts organisation creating and curating site-responsive projects throughout Ireland. Killyon welcomed artists to stay for a week long seasonal art residency where the wild landscape will provide an immersive backdrop to the development of their artistic practice.
